DC Puzzle Competition: Valentines Edition
I competed in two individual heats and one pairs heat. For individual, I competed on 300pc puzzles, and my pairs partner Michael and I competed together on a 500pc puzzle.

I finally mastered the art of picking up completed puzzles without them falling apart.
This was a really challenging puzzle competition for me on all three puzzles!
-
Pretty in Pink was my first experience working on a puzzle with a border that doesn’t make sense to assemble first (it’s easier to assemble when the inside of the puzzle has already been finished).
-
Heart Succulents challenged my ability to find where pieces go on the box image and my attention to detail — many of the pieces were just green mush to me! Additionally, paying attention to lighting was key in assembling this puzzle.
-
Butts on Things: Sweet Cheeks was a challenge to my focus. Look at all those CUTE BUTTS! Even the gumballs in the gumball machine have butts! The Oreo cookies say BUTTS instead of OREO!
All in all, very happy to continue my puzzle training and to continue to get competition practice individually and with Michael as my pair.
