2025 USA Jigsaw Nationals

2025 was my first year competing at the USA Jigsaw Nationals, which was held in Washington, DC. I did not qualify for finals in either Individual or Pairs categories, but had a great experience and have kept up speed puzzling since!

You can read more about the competition.

Individual

Individual competitions are held on 500pc unreleased Ravensburger puzzles, and competitors have an hour and a half to either complete or finish as much of the puzzle as possible.

I competed in the Individual C Prelimiary round, the first round of competition that determines your placement in finals. I completed 299 peices of the puzzle and ranked 146th, which did not qualify me for finals (the top 65 moved on). See the results on worldjigsaw.org.

Pairs

Pairs competitions are held on 500pc unreleased Ravensburger puzzles, and competitors have an hour and 15 minutes to either complete or finish as much of the puzzle as possible.

I competed with Chelsea Jacobs, the organizer of DC Puzzle Competition, in Pairs A Prelimiary round. We completed the puzzle in 1:01:07 and ranked 128th, which did not qualify us for finals (the top 101 moved on). See the results on worldjigsaw.org.
